Why juice fast?
Liquid (be it juices, smoothies or broths) is the best way to provide essential nutrients during a fast without missing food or flavours. Liquid is assimilated by the body quickly and effectively.
How does it work?
Ideally we should fast one day a week, on the same day, to create a sustainable routine. Since most of us find this challenging, we thought it a good idea to offer an intensive week, in which you can benefit progressively of sustained detox and learn new habits and recipes, gaining knowledge and confidence to do so back at home. We begin with 1,5 day preparation (pre-fast) and 1,5 day of adaptation to normality at the end(post-fast).
We do not offer fast for more than 3 days. If you plan to come for two programmes, it is up to you to follow the fast through from the first week to the next, if you wish to.

Recommendations to get more out of your fast
Before:
3 days before: Abstain from tobacco, coffee and sugar
2 days before: Abstain from bread, rice, cooked grains or carbs
1 day before: Eat mostly fruit, vegetables and nuts
Few days before arrival, skipping dinner in the evenings could prepare the body better for prolonged periods of fasting. Alternatively, eating only banana or salad at night could be very beneficial.
During:
Avoid use of drugs and medicines.
Drink much liquid (preferably not too cold or hot)
Get as much sun as you can but try to get morning and evening sun.
Make the most of the facilities: swimming, walking, saunas…
If I am hungry?
Ideally we expect you to come pre-disposed and understand that our “hunger” at certain times is only a “craving” or an “emotional substitute”, and not a nutritional need. We are not psychologists nor are we attempting to make you not “desire” food. However, please make sure you talk to us before embarking on a fish and chip hunt, as our priority is that you make the most of this opportunity and achieve the final goal.

Will I lose weight?
The effects will depend on your metabolism and the amount of stored toxins. With Juice it is possible to ingest more than we could eat using our teeth. A Juice Fast helps cleansing as it provides a high amount of good substances in your body without digestion. All juices is low in calouries, together with daily walks and Yoga class is very possible to lose weight.
What will I feel?
This again depends completely on each person and their habits. If you are a frequent smoker or coffee drinker you may feel withdrawal symptoms, such as headaches and mood changes. This will be best dealt with by ingesting much liquid and keeping oneself occupied, with walks, saunas…etc. Fasting can make one feel cold. We have under-floor heating and warm duvets but you may need a set of warm clothes for outside.
It is crucial that you consult your doctor if you have any serious illness and that you bring your own medical insurance.
If I Want to do a complete fast and juice fast for whole week or more than a week?
Maxium complete juice fast we offer is 7 days, If you want to do more than 3 days complete fast it is absolotly opt to you, we will be ready to give you adivices, and make a simple soup in case you don´t fil grate. This will depend more to you than us. The enviroment you be perfect to make you week as pleasure as possible and you will realise is much easy than you thok. We do not recommend juice fast longer than 10 day and we do not offer longer than 7 days.
